Victory Ride

MAKING THE MAJOR PROUD!

The ‘Victory Ride’ is the annual signature event of the Major Taylor Cycling Club Chicago. This fully supported ride is held on Memorial Day weekend. A full Memorial Day weekend of rides and fellowship. Whether you’re an elite athlete, a weekend warrior, or a casual cyclist we’ve got a distance right for you.

Two different distances/routes will be offered on Saturday, heading south of Chicago, and further into Illinois and Indiana. The routes this year are brand new and are 95% on open roads, staying off most of the busier roads around the city.

Cyclists can expect mostly flat sections and some gentle rollers. Remember this is Chicagoland, we don’t have hills but we do have wind.

ROUTES

Saturday – This is the MAIN day of the weekend. Includes lots of riding, food, and fellowship. Two different distances/routes will be offered, heading south of Chicago, and further into Illinois or Indiana. The routes this year are brand new and are 95% on open roads, staying off most of the busier roads around the city.

Sunday – Various ride options suitable for all participants.

Monday – A casual ride for ice cream, followed by family time.
