MTC3 Donut Ride

A fun experience you don’t want to miss! Come out and ride, enjoy some donuts and fellowship with fellow MTC3 members! We’ll have three different routes leaving from three different locations. More Details, including routes soon!
OPTION 1 – Metric
Start Location: Glenwood Woods-North (106 N. Main Street, Glenwood, IL 60425). The entrance is on Chicago Heights Glenwood Rd, directly west of the Glenwood Oaks Restaurant.
Departure Time: 7:45 am SHARP
End Time: 12:30 pm
Average Speed: 16-18mph
Distance: 62 miles

Drop/No Drop: No Drop (All riders are expected to keep the pace of the ride.)
OPTION 2 – 35 MILE RIDERS
Start Location: Pep Boys parking lot (21610 S Cicero Ave, Matteson, IL 60443)
Departure Time: 8:40 am SHARP
End Time: 12:30 pm
Average Speed: 15-16 mph
Distance: 35 miles
Ride Leader: TBD
Drop/No Drop: No Drop (All riders are expected to keep the pace of the ride.)
OPTION 3 – TWO DIMES
Start Location: 123 Kansas St. Frankfort, IL 60423 (Meet in front of the park bench by the bathrooms)
Departure Time: 9:00 am SHARP
End Time: 12:30 pm
Average Speed: 12-14 mph
Distance: 23 miles

Additional Information: We Are Asking Everyone To Wear MTC3 Gear, this ride has 3 starting points. We will ride to Home Cut Donuts at 1317 E. Washington St, Joliet, IL 60433. After riding to the end of Old Plank Trail (OPT), we will turn left (East) on Washington up the hill and Home Cut Donuts (HCD) is a few blocks up on the left side. Please exercise caution when entering the street and make sure there is no upcoming traffic then stay to the right. Expect to arrive at HCD between 10:00-10:30 am. Hang around for a group photo and feel free to take photos along the way. This is a fun, family-like ride. If you want to meet us at Home Cut Donuts, then you’re welcome to do so. For those not riding with the group but would like to meet us at HCD, please inform us by registering under the tickets titled, “JUST DONUTS PLEASE.
We will ride only if weather is permitting. Please check with the ride leader before traveling to the ride to check if the ride may be cancelled due to weather.
