DESCRIPTION:Major Taylor Chicago members may register for bike transport to and from the One Love Century here. \n  \nONE LOVE CENTURY – TRAILER INFORMATION \n\nBike Drop-off will be on the southside of Chicago (exact location will be given to those who are using the service once paid) on Wednesday\, August 27 from 5 – 7 pm.\nThe bikes will arrive in Atlanta in time for the Thursday Tango ride.\nThe trailer will be in Atlanta and available for the rides each day from Thursday up to and including Sunday\, September 1.  The trailer will then return to Chicago.  The trailer and the bikes on it will not be in Atlanta for the Monday ride.\nBike Pick-up will be at the same location on the southside on Sunday evening upon the trailer’s arrival back in Chicago.\nThe cost for bike transportation is $85.  Payment is made here through this invitation.\nEach member using this service will sign a waiver when dropping off their bikes.\nSlots are limited.  Members will be awarded slots based on who pays first here.  Once the trailer is sold out\, then a slot may only open up if there is a cancellation.\nCommunication about the One Love Century including the trailer’s location will be communicated via Telegram and WhatsApp.  Please contact Amy Johnson to be added to the communication channels.  Amy may be reached at 847-858-9553 or jopar64@gmail.com.\n\nFor more information about our bike trailer\, please click this link. \nFor more information about the One Love Century\, including registration\, please click this link.

Below is a general list of items to bring and a to-do list to be ready for an MTC3 ride. \nGear Bag: Buy a gear bag (saddle bag is recommended) and stock it with the basics:  extra tube\, tire tools\, a small multi-tool\, and either a mini-pump or a CO2 cartridge set. \nTire Pressure: Pump your tires up before coming to the ride\, or bring a floor pump that you can use in the parking lot before the ride. If you need help\, MTC3 ride leaders will be there to help you learn. \nYour bike: Give it a quick inspection. Spin the wheels to make sure they aren’t rubbing. Do the gears shift accurately and easily? Does everything seem to be in order? This is called an ABC check. (Air\, Brakes\, and Chain) \nHydration/Food: Remember to bring water/sports drink and maybe an energy snack (bar\, gel\, banana\, etc). \nOptional items: The following will make your ride more enjoyable\, but aren’t absolutely necessary:  Cycling gloves\, sunglasses\, cycling shoes and clipless pedals\, padded cycling shorts \nBe on Time: MTC3 rides leave promptly at the advertised time. Get to the start of the ride with plenty of time to get yourself and your bike ready to roll with soul!
